Impact on the Organization
Operating in a constantly changing marketplace and business environment, organizations increasingly depend on effective communication for their success. Today, every employee is expected to participate more fully in business work processes, and to be more actively involved in two-way communication. While technology makes it easier and quicker to reach wider internal and external audiences, success still depends on the skill of the communicator. As businesses continue to eliminate layers of management (“flatten”), employees need even better communication skills in order to succeed.

- Identify how personal management style affects communication

Program Description
This highly interactive module addresses why effective communication is more important than ever, and then helps participants master today’s most effective communication skills. Using appropriate instruments, Quest can assess the communication styles of both participants and other employees, determine the most effective ways to communicate within your company, and teach those methods. The module explores behaviors which enhance and impair effective communication, and teaches how to transform non-productive interactions into productive ones. Participants interact with the instructor and with each other, experience appropriate exercises and practice sessions, and learn how to meaningfully apply those experiences to their everyday work situations. To reinforce the principles of clear, effective communication, the module also incorporates a powerful simulation involving both verbal and non-verbal communication.
